The Importance Of Connection
Connection is one of our five ways to wellbeing, but one that's often not given the focus it should, to help us support in particular our psychological and emotional wellbeing.

Join Wellspace on 19th June at 7am or 3pm GMT where our in-house expert team will take you through a session specifically for you as Wellbeing Champions, and Wellbeing/HR leaders on ‘The Importance Of Connection’.
This session takes a deeper look at how important connection is for us as human beings; in terms of connection with ourselves, with others and the world around us.
Recognising the signs and outcomes of disconnection, understand its effects on wellbeing and productivity, and discover practical steps for reconnecting with yourself and others.
We’ll explore tactics and habits that support us in being more present, managing digital distraction and supporting colleagues who may feel disconnected.
🔍 What is on the agenda:
📌 Identifying signs of disconnection, including changes in behaviour that indicate you may feel detached from yourself or others
📌Understand the outcomes of employees being disconnected for physical and psychological health, including burnout.
📌 Tactics for developing presence to reconnect with self and others around us for increased communication and collaboration.
📌 Ways to disconnect from aspects that don’t support us, such as digital devices, in order to recognise and reconnect with those that do.
📌 Understand how we can recognise when colleagues are feeling disconnected and the wider impact this has organisationally and for individuals.
📌 How the Wellspace app can be used as a tool to support you and help you put this knowledge into practice.
Following the session, Wellspace will outline the resources available to you.
