This year has been a momentous one for Wellspace, so we thought we would take a little time to look back and reflect.
From Conception to Birth
A data driven corporate wellness programme is an idea we have been interested in for a number of years, but in 2018 the time was right to put our ideas into practice.
We were certain we wanted to have a corporate wellness programme that was suitable for everyone, not just those who were already healthy.
Not only that, but we wanted to have a corporate wellness system that looked at the whole range of health and wellbeing, not just physical or mental wellbeing.
We worked closely with a team of designers and developers to advise on the technical aspect. To support the health and wellbeing side we brought together the finest team possible, with skills, qualifications and experience ranging from practising mental health doctors, wellness coaches, nutrition experts, psychologists, and physiotherapists. You can read more about our fantastic team here. Jake even went to Bali to study meditation, literally going the extra mile!
Over the course of a year, with a lot of vigorous testing, blood, sweat and tears, we were ready to launch and product and solution we are really proud of.
The Launch Party
We love a good party-what better way to build your spirits? And our launch party certainly made our spirits soar!
We held it in a swanky Italian restaurant in Marylebone and invited the great and good of the business world.
Champagne was quaffed, canapes were wolfed, and chatter was mainly around the benefits of a solid corporate wellness programme.
Getting Down to Business
After the launch it was time to really knuckle down.
We launched our training courses as standalone wellbeing training sessions, which can be tailored to a range of requirements and levels of need.
We decided that, in the spirit of inclusivity, we wanted our training to be a sort of pick and mix, with different topics and different levels of support. That way we can really focus on what is going to have the biggest impact on the employee’s life.
We also launched our pilot scheme, which let businesses try the wellness solution before fully committing. This has been fantastically successful and really allowed us to gather excellent feedback to improve the service. Not only that, but it has let our clients feel really at ease before committing.
The Future
2019 is going to be a brilliant year. We are excited to be at the point where we can really forge ahead with our plans for growth and bring corporate wellness to the UK in a way that has never been done before.
