Take Your Full Lunch Break

Taking a lunch break is important for your health and wellbeing. As well as relieving stress, a break can increase creativity and boost productivity. Unfortunately, more than 50% of Brits don’t take their full lunch break, even though they’re entitled to it! So, when the sun is shining, get outside and enjoy your FULL lunch break. It really will help you to enjoy the summer whilst working.

Join An Outdoor Exercise Class

Many gyms/fitness centres host their exercise classes outside during the summer months. If you already attend a lunch time exercise class, chances are, they’ll move it outside. If not, seek out an outdoor exercise class and try something new. Or head to a nearby park with an exercise mat and enjoy your own workout in the sun.

Organise A Picnic

Gather your work friends, pack a delicious lunch and grab the picnic blanket! Nothing says summer like a picnic. This could even become a weekly event during the summer months, and its so easy to organise. Simply send a quick ‘Everybody Welcome’ email round the office notifying your colleagues of the picnic date and time. That way, everyone can enjoy the summer whilst working.

Go Cycling Or Walking

Going for a lovely, long walk is a great way to spend your lunch break when the sun is shining. Alternatively, bring your bike to work and head out on a bike ride around a nearby park. Exercise is a great way to stimulate the brain and boost productivity and make your summer much more enjoyable.
